10 New Hair styles for Teenagers

All the teenagers go to the parties and all. They want their look so different. And our hair is the main part of our look. You can change your hairstyle to get a completely new look. Here are some new hairstyles which I think you should try.

 1. Skinny Braid

  • Design hair to desired style.
  • Pull out a few sections that frame your face and behind ears.
  • Braid them into tight braids. (Skip the elastics at the end — instead, mist on a heat protectant spray and seal with a straightener!)

2. Ponytail Hairstyle
  • For straight or wavy hair, hold a curling iron vertically, and curl small sections at a time, carefully rolling the iron away from your face. For curly hair, apply a frizz-fighting cream to damp strands and air-dry, then use a curling iron for touch-ups.
  • Lift pieces at the top of your head and tease toward the roots to create height. Do this in small sections, spraying each with hairspray so they don't fall. When you have enough volume, gently comb back the top layer to smooth over any knots.
  • Gather all of your hair into a low side pony, positioning it just behind your ear. Secure with an invisible elastic. Finish the look by tying a colorful ribbon in a bow around the elastic, then pulling a few wispy pieces out to frame your face.

3. Boho Braids
  • Step 1: Blow-dry hair straight to make it easier to braid. Part hair in the center.

    Try:
Infiniti Nano Silver by Conair Tourmaline Ceramic Styler, $50, drugstores
  • Step 2: Separate out a one-inch section on both sides of part — two inches back from the hairline. Take a two-inch piece above each ear, and clip out of the way. Pull the rest of hair into a low bun. Bobby-pin it against the nape of neck, and tuck in the ends.
  • Step 3: Braid each of the top sections down; pin the ends into your bun. Then braid the side sections over the top of your head. Pin the ends against your head, and smooth with pomade.

    Try:
Pantene Pro-V Texture Pomade, $4, drugstores

4. Blowout Hair
  • Apply a quarter-size amount of thick anti-frizz serum to towel-dried hair to keep your strands smooth. Rub the serum over your hands, then run your fingers through your hair from roots to ends.
  • Blow-dry hair on high heat starting with a three-inch-wide section in front. Use a round brush with holes in it so the heat can reach all your strands. Aim the dryer directly at the round brush, first from above and then from below.
  • Roll each section under a Velcro roller after blow-drying it (while it's still warm). As you dry the rest of your hair, this will prevent it from getting messy and blown around. Velcro rollers also add body and bounce.
  • Remove the rollers when all your hair is totally cooled. Finish by evenly misting your entire head with an aerosol hairspray from 10 inches away. This seals the hair shaft, so it stays smooth and frizz-free the entire day.

5. Sectioned Ponytail
  • When you need fuss-free hair, a triple pony ensures no strands will slip out.
  • Make a ponytail at your crown. Make two more down the nape of your neck, tying together all three with an elastic at the bottom.
  • Use a lock of hair from underneath each ponytail to hide your plain elastics!

6. The taylor
  • Ask for: A shoulder-skimming, sharply razored cut that has layers and long, pointy side-swept bangs to frame your face.
  • Ask your stylist to use scissors to razor-cut in a lot of choppy layers, with more at your crown than below it.

Ask for really thinned-out ends (also called texturizing).
  • Products to Use
Smoothing Balm: For sleek strands, apply a smoothing cream to dry hair, then use a flat-iron on small sections of hair from roots to tips. Slowly run the flat-iron down the hair shaft and hold through to the ends without rotating it

7. Headbands and waves
  • Straight Hair
Spritz wave-enhancing spray all over damp hair, then make several braids; once dry, let loose.

    Try:
Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Wave-Enhancing Spray, $4, drugstores
  • Curly Hair
Apply a dime-size amount of serum to dry curls to relax them, then go over two-inch sections with a large-barrel curling iron.

    Try:
Redken Glass 01 Smoothing serum, $15, salons
  • Wavy Hair
Scrunch a golf ball-size amount of a curl-defining mousse into damp hair, and dry with a diffuser.

    Try:
    Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl

 8.Looped Bun hairstyle
  • Flat-iron hair first to get it super-sleek!
  • Make a low side pony behind your ear and secure an elastic.
  • Fold the length of your hair in half and wrap the extra strands around the base.
  • Secure with bobby pins.
  • Apply a flyaway stick over hair to tame any wispy strands.

  9. Pigtail hairstyle
  • Create soft waves with a large-barrel curling iron, then make a center part and split hair into two sections. Start to weave each into a braid behind the ear, then secure with an elastic two inches down and wrap a piece of hair around it.
  • Alternate the direction you curl your hair for a more natural look.
  • Try: Hot Tools Professional Spring 1 1/4" Curling Iron, $37

10. Cornrow braids
  • Part your hair on your left side. Start braiding to the right of the part along your hairline.
  • As you braid, add in pieces from both sides to continue down the side of your head, but as you add the pieces, pull them underneath the braid. This creates an inside-out French-braid look.
  • Braid down to behind your ear, then stop adding pieces. Finish braiding regularly to the ends and secure them with an elastic.
